I’m confused. How
do I get started with FootPOWR if I have a
MAC?
The FootPOWR
comes ready to work as a MOUSE. If you put in the install
CD according to the directions that will come with your
FootPOWR you will be ready to play "mouse" games like
Bejeweled, MahJong, Solitaire, Tetris, Zuma, PopCap games, Pogo
games, GameHouse, RealArcade etc. If you wanted to
CHANGE THE CONFIGURATION OF YOUR FOOTPOWR -
then you would need to use either a PC or a MAC that has
Windows.
Because 8 of
the squares on a FootPOWR can be mapped as various mouse and
keyboard input some people like to customize their footPOWR to
play games like WoW, flight games and such. For 95% of our
FootGamers, the initial basic mouse configuration it comes
installed with will be fine.
The one
thing you may want to configure is the mouse SPEED. It
comes with a default speed of 1. Most games are enjoyed
best with a mouse speed of 6 or 7.
How to
do this:
1.
Plug your
FootPOWR USB to a PC, turn on the PC, and then insert the
install CD in the drive.
2.
Wait for the
install. Follow instructions on the screen
3.
Once it is
installed, click the red XF icon on the lower right of the
screen and the CONFIGURATION box will open
4.
You will see
mouse speed in the middle right. Change the number to 6 or
7. The better you know the game and the more Footgaming
practice you have the faster you can make the mouse
speed
5.
Close out the
configuration box
Now you can
use your FootPOWR on your MAC because it is fully CONFIGURED.
Should you want to change from MOUSE input to KEYBOARD input
you would go back to the PC (or use a MAC with
Windows). Open the XF configuration window again and LOAD
the default KEYBOARD configuration. For more information
