Do I need to dedicate a computer solely for FootGaming?

General FAQ | Get Started FAQ | Teacher Resource FAQ

DSC00063.jpgNo, you don't need to have a computer set up solely for use with FootGaming. The same computer can be used for conventional mouse functions.  This computer station is tucked back among fice classroom computers used for a variety of subjects and projects.  It is set up with a conventional mouse and on the floor behind the chair is the FootPOWR peripheral.  Often the FootPOWR is leaning against the wall. At times when students are switching off between using the conventional mouse and the FootPOWR pad, it stays on the floor.

This student is doing work in math
using links from his teacher, Heather
Renz's comprehensive collection of
projects and games.  Once he finished
the project that requires keyboard use,
he can simply move his chair aside and
spend 5-10 minutes playing a game
geared to delivering some much needed
oxygen to his brain - and energetic
balance practice at the same time.

The "footprint" for this exergaming station is relatively small and completely portable.  To put away the FootGaming station students only need to lean the FootPOWR platform against the wall. It is thin enough that it can easily fit between the desk and the wall.  DSC00065.jpg
