Configuring the FootPOWR for Keyboard Input
When you first
install your FootPOWR you will see that an icon XF shows on the bottom right menu
bar. When you click on it you will see that there are
some CONFIGURATIONS already coded. You see - to the
left - a FootPOWR generic layout that does not have any of the
nine squares programmed at all. You can create a mapping
configuration that will allow you to play hundreds of online
(often free to download) computer games.
How is that done? Simply LEFT click with your conventional mouse while selecting the upper left square. A menu will drop down and you click on ASSIGN to KEYBOARD. You will then hit the KEYBOARD key you want that square to be assigned to. For example, upper left works well as the SPACE BAR. Hit that key and the square on your FootPOWR pad is configured.
BASIC KEYBOARD CONFIGURATION has the upper left as the space bar, upper right as the ENTER key and the arrows as the arrows on the keyboard.
Continue in the same manner until all the rest of the squares you want to configure have been done.
There's no need to make a different configuration for every game. There are easy to map CONFIGURATIONS for a BASIC MOUSE INPUT MAPPING
